Meet Your Coach

It turns out I’ve been coaching all my adult life and didn’t know it. In fact, not long ago, a highly respected 40-year veteran in the field of therapy (who has known me many years) said, “WELL! You’re finally in your element now, Curt!”

I was fortunate to have been exposed to many wonderful and different people when I was growing up. At an early age I learned I’d gain a lot more from listening than talking, so that’s what I did. As a teenager, friends came to me for advice and a caring ear. I was a valued sounding board and the fact that I really wanted to make a difference in people’s lives was apparent. As I got older the conversations turned to parenting, balancing work and family while keeping a marriage strong, and finding time to nurture oneself. The problems shared in confidence weren’t easy to solve but I was often asked to help. It’s been my natural “people sense” that allowed me to learn much from observing people and enjoy interacting with them. Listening, communicating and problem solving are fun and effortless for me. These skills contributed significantly to being effective in my work as a coach. My goal is to inspire others to see their answers are inside of them. My professional background includes a 30-year very successful track record in sales. At each new opportunity it took only a short while before I became the unofficial company coach who provided direction and support to other employees…helping them achieve their goals, create solid relationships, bring a stronger and better individual to the workplace, and more. The unofficial coach pattern repeated itself over and over throughout my career. The honors displayed on my office bookshelves reflect this.

At the time of my last career decision, it was so obvious that I should apply what had come naturally for so long and become a successful life coach. I completed my formal training at the leading institution in the coaching field, The Coaches Training InstituteSM. Now, I enjoy working with clients who are motivated and happy with their progress. They ask for more which I happily give, and they refer others. When I am told, “Life’s so much better now,” well, it doesn’t get any better than that!

If now is the time you really want to make a better life for yourself (not just talk about it), I’d love to talk with you. Contact Coach Curt today!
